Scotland Road Trip: NC500 – Arisaig to Glasgow

Day 7 was our last day of our Scotland road trip. We were mostly in the car today. Total driving time about 5 hours with 3 hours of exploring. Distance traveled was about 200 miles (340 km).

We left Arisaig at 9 am and arrived at the Glenfinnan Viaduct at 10:15 am. We walked to the lookout area, took our photos and decided not to wait another hour for the train to go through. There were many Harry Potter fans and train fanatics waiting patiently. We drove back through Fort William and instead of taking the A82 through Glencoe and Bridge of Orchy, we drove down to Oban and across to Inverary before coming back into Glasgow down the Rest and Be Thankful, through Luss and Dumbarton. We arrived home in Glasgow by 5 pm.
